If you're a mom , you know this feeling: The day officially has 24 hours – and yet it's always too few! Between daycare, job, housework and family organization, there's often unfortunately little time left for you.

❣️ Why short breaks are so important

Many mothers carry so much mental strain that their nervous system remains constantly in "alert mode." But good self-care brings more calm to everyday family life—and ultimately makes life easier for everyone. We have a few tips that will work in your daily life as a mom:

🌸 1. The mini reset
Close the door behind you, place your hand on your heart, and take a deep breath. It sounds simple at first, but it helps immediately.

🌸 2. Cuddling Focus
Hug something: a pillow, your favorite cuddly toy , a hot water bottle – touch calms the nervous system.

🌸 3. Enjoy the silence
Sit comfortably in your favorite spot. Close your eyes. Just do nothing for one minute.

🌸 4. Short walk
Go outside for a bit of fresh air. Take a short walk around the block or up and down the street. It doesn't always have to be a walk in the woods.

🌸 5. Have a laugh!
A small, funny moment, a witty saying , or a cute motif can be incredibly relaxing.

Coloring books , diamond painting , audio plays – they connect people and always work.

🌸 7. The evening is yours
The kids are in bed. Just 10 minutes of conscious breathing changes everything.

Enjoy a snack mindfully – without rushing.

🌸 9. Comfort Mode
Snuggling up in a blanket: A cozy moment is almost like a reset for the soul.

🌸 10. The magic question
"What would make me feel good right now?" Then do that – at least on a small scale.
